LMIS Team Completes FY27 Strategic Planning
July 9, 2026
The LMIS team recently concluded a successful Fiscal Year 2027 strategic planning retreat, taking time to reflect on the progress we made over the past year, including strengthening our internal AI literacy, expanding our partnerships locally at City Hall and into Westchester County, and growing LMIS’ events portfolio. We also discussed lessons learned, identified areas where we can continue to improve, and aligned on our research agenda and priorities for the year ahead. These conversations reinforced our commitment to thoughtful collaboration and to providing high-quality, data-driven research that supports mission-driven communities across New York City and the nation.
As we move into FY27, we’re excited to continue advancing several key initiatives. These include deepening our understanding and use of AI through team case study analyses and qualitative research, expanding how we share our work and engage with our community through LinkedIn and our website, and incorporating new tools such as Tableau and JobsEQ to strengthen our labor market data infrastructure and support future research. We’re looking forward to another year of producing research, events, and tools that support mission-driven organizations.
